The Vice President continued his 35-year Thanksgiving tradition of celebrating the November feast day in Nantucket. He arrived Tuesday evening aboard Air Force Two, disrupting air traffic for a brief period.
The VEEP celebrated with his wife, Jill, and his newly engaged daughter Ashley, at the Louis Susman waterfront estate on Washing Pond Road. Lou Susman is an attorney, retired investment banker and top fundraiser for Obama’s 2008 campaign.
Their meal was prepared by The Faregrounds Restaurant, which was voted “Best Family Dining” and “Best Inexpensive Meal” in 2010. That Veep sure is a frugal one!
